The film follows a group of security guards and facility personnel charged with managing a remote, high-tech research facility built on the site where Goodnight's crimes were committed. Unbeknownst to them, Goodnight intended to track them to this new location and continue his reign of terror.

 As the night wears on, their fate is sealed by Goodnight's brutal and calculated methods, and the team disappears one by one. Meanwhile, a group of young people, including a tech-savvy woman named Lily (played by an up-and-coming actress), arrive at the facility for a special project. 

Lurking in the shadows, Goodnight uses the facility's security system, dark corridors, and numerous deadly traps to eliminate them and turn the building
